The key card that the owner/manager provided to him didn’t work, although his master card worked: he again went to the office for reprogramming, second time didn’t work, again back to the office, third time didn’t work, he returned to the office again while we baked in the sun: the fourth time he returned with a computer to reprogram the door lock, after 15 minutes of programming both, key and lock, finally had a functional key, at least we thought so.

Upon entering our room, it reeked of smoke, there was a cleaning person in the adjoining room, we knocked and asked if there was a room that was free from smoke odor, he told us to wait while he went to the office for alternate arrangements, upon returning with a can of Febreeze he entered a room a few doors down, came back out and asked if would be acceptable, it was so much better so we said it was ok. We requested a non-smoking room that was not used by travelers with pets.
Upon entering the office it was apparent that ownership and management was of foreign decent, likely from India.
